Kodak EASYSHARE V1073 10 Megapixel Digital Camera - Black
In a few words, this is THE BEST digital camera I have ever used/owned. In the time we have owned the camera, the pictures, video, and ease of use have been incredible. It is really easy to use, has many features which make it VERY simple to use - which is what a point and shoot camera should be. I've used an SLR, but needed a simple camera to just take great shots w/o effort. It only has three buttons - one of which is an info button - providing answers to questions about whatever is on the current screen. I didn't buy it for the touch screen, but it is great for flipping through photos for the one you want.

If your comparing with a Canon you should check the Kodak V1073 out first. I can't really speak for other Kodak cameras. I tried using one other Kodak model, and it seemed study, yet compared about the same as the other digital cameras around. The V1073 seems to be an (successful) experiment in breaking away from the typical Kodak camera, so I would limit my recommendation

Creative Labs MF5110 i80 Travelsound for iPod Nano 3G video
This is a nice little speaker to take to the beach or the park. I can keep it in my car and not have to worry about using my car for my music. However, as a speaker system, it's not the best. I paid $104 for my im600 Altec Lansing portable ipod speaker and it gives great bass, great sound, and is only two pounds. I can't hold it in my hand like the i80, but I'm not sure I'm willing to risk full-time sound quality for the convenience of holding a speaker in my hand.

Four stars for it's portability and convenience. It's a very nice package and looks great!

Minus one star for the price. Take about $40 off!

Sylvania LC195SL8 19 LCD TV - 19 - ATSC, NTSC - 16:9 - 1440 x 900 - HDTV
If you're looking for a state of the art LCD with all the bells and whistles, then this TV is not for you. But, if you're looking for an inexpensive, small TV for a spare room, kitchen, or other such application, this is well worth a serious look.

I bought this for my Mom to replace an aging TV in her kitchen. Have been very pleased with it - excellent picture, and a snap to set up. The remote is uncomplicated, which is a big plus for Mom since she basically uses just channel up/down and volume. The stand is nice and sturdy, and tilts backwards (does not swivel side to side, however). A good viewing angle and a non-glare screen round out the major pluses.

As you would expect at this price, you don't get a lot of advanced controls. There is a color temperature setting, but it's very basic (three modes). The sound is OK and on a par with what you get from most small sets - it's clear, but light on the bass, and just standard stereo (no surround sound). But, I was looking for uncomplicated,

Hellgate: London: Windows
The future of this game is doubtful. You may not be able to play it!

From the Hellgate forums on 7/19/2008:

"It is with deep regret that I must announce that Flagship Studios has laid off most employees. However, the core management and founding team members are still at Flagship." said Bill Roper, CEO of Flagship Studios. "The past five years have been an incredible experience for us, but unfortunately, we couldn't sustain the size of the company any longer."

...

"Due to the current situation, Flagship will not be taking any new subscribers for Hellgate: London, and all current subscriptions will not be billed."

iWork: Mac
If Apple took its cues from Microsoft, we wouldn't have merely one version of iWork. iWork 2008, in Microsoft parlance, could more aptly be described as "iWork Lite". Alternately, this version might best be billed as iWork Home. What about iWork Office and iWork School? Or iWork Superior to include all of the above? Don't count on it, at least not from iWork '08.

If the other reviews on Amazon and Apple are any indication, the only application in this trio that truly rises to the Microsoft Office challenge is Keynote. My beef with this suite pertains to my primary reason for purchasing iWork: word processing. Microsoft Office 2008 amounted to a series of alarming 1-star reviews at the time I purchased iWork 2008, and aside from that is enormously overpriced. More importantly, however, I wanted to reward any developer who dares compete with the Goliath that is MS Office by casting a vote with my pocketbook in favor of their product. Apple, after all, has been updating iWork long enough

Garmin nuvi 760 Automobile Portable GPS-Garmin nuvi 760 Automobile Portable GPS
I have just moved to a new city and this unit has been invaluable. Having it speak the names of the streets is a very worthwhile plus. The maps seem to be up to date in urban areas although there are some gaps in eastern Canada. Even in these cases it "does its best" which is pretty good. I found the "find lodging" function useful while travelling but using the unit to play music through the car stereo can present a problem since it is often difficult to find sustained "blank space" on the FM dial especially while travelling any distance as the nuvi is "stepped on" by local stations.

Samsung 52" 1080p 120Hz Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
I've had this tv for 30 days now and I am so happy with it. I wanted to allow time for any problems to surface such as the auto-off problem that I had read about in earlier reviews. Samsung must have done the firmware fix at the factory or I was just lucky. My experience with this purchase from Amazon was totally positive in every aspect.

This was my first major online purchase so I was a bit nervous. I had been researching and comparing Samsung, Toshiba, Sony and Sharp 52" LCD HDTV's for the past 6 months. Comparing price and features the Samsung LN52A650 is certainly the one with the most bang for your buck. With Amazon's price plus free shipping and zero tax none of the local big stores could come close. And I had been watching the sales. We're not rich so when we make a major purchase it has to be right.

The TV was delivered exactly one week from the day I placed the order. Eagle called the day before to give us a delivery timeframe and they were on time. We live way out

Samsung 52" 1080p Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
We purchased this TV for lounge area in MBR. We agonized over 46" versus 52" and are extremely happy that we opted for the 52". The picture is wonderful and the swivel base allows us to angle TV to either sitting area or bed. Very happy that we opted for the matte screen rather than the polished screen on the 650 and 750 as our room is very bright. We paid $1809 which was a very fair and competitive price at time we ordered and received $100 credit when the price dropped four weeks later (within Amazon's 30 day price protection window). We are in remote area of NM yet the set was delivered and setup in just 4 days.

Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition-VISUAL STUDIO PRO 2008 WIN32 DVD DVD
Visual Studio 2008 is the latest version of Visual Studio. Visual Studio is Microsoft's primary IDE. It can be used to develop console applications, Graphical user interface applications, web sites, web applications, and web services in both native code as well as managed code for all platforms supported by Microsoft. It contains four major products Microsoft Visual C++, Microsoft Visual C#, Microsoft Visual Basic, and Microsoft Visual Web Developer. However, it is possible to integrate additional products like IronPython and IronRuby. I've integrated Microsoft Robotics Studio and the CCR libraries with my Visual Studio 2005 and Visual Studio 2008 (for that I also had to download and integrate .Net 3.5 libraries into Visual Studio 2005 which you can do for free).

Among the major enhancements to Visual Studio 2008 (as compared to Visual Studio 2005) are .NET Framework 3.5, WPF, WCF, WWF, LINQ, and the language extensions in C# 3.0. Well .Net 3.5/3.0 is really the item that provides most

Kodak EASYSHARE SV1011 10" Digital Picture Frame
Power supply is 110V only, so don't go buying this for any friends in Europe or the rest of the world. It is also pretty difficult to find a 12V 2A power supply to replace the one provided.
Other than that it does what it says on the tin.

Panasonic DMC-TZ5A 9.1MP 10xOp Zoom Digital Camera-Panasonic DMC-TZ5A 9.1MP 10xOp Zoom Digital Camera
I own the 1st gen canon digital rebel DSLR, and these pictures seem sharper, and the camera does a much better job of exposing the scenes. It does a reasonable job at higher ISO levels, but not as good as the DSLR, but I didnt expect it to be. I tried to lighten my load last year, and bought a Kodak, but it was not nearly good as my old DSLR, so the DSLR was still the preferred camera. However I think my second attempt I've got it right. The TZ5 eliminates the need for me to carry a large DSLR with 2 heavy lenses and a video camera. The TZ5 is now my camera of choice and has replaced all that. I'm not a pro, just want some good quality images and videos of my family.

For its size, the Camera is heavier than expected, but not too heavy. It a good heft, and helps with stability. It feels like its made well, and not the plastic toy feel that many cameras I tested had.

The video was just as important to me, and the quality on these videos are great. Not as good as my video camera as they

Bioshock: Windows
Have struggled with Bioshock for several weeks now. I am finally throwing in the towel. Amazing art work and scene sets cannot compensate for the frenetic, shadowy and fleeting fps combat situations, all taking place in a dark, poorly lit (albeit artistic) underwater civilization. Give me the light and air of Half Life 2, or Crysis, or FEAR. My sense is that this a game for gamers--especially younger gamers, who might have the endurance and inquisitiveness/inventiveness to traipse through an endless array of beautiful, but ulimately obscure rooms/locales. Bioshock is beautifully crafted, but dreary, uninteresting, and not nearly as engaging as an fps as reviews had led me to believe.

Samsung 52" 1080p 120Hz Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
Samsung LN52A750 52-Inch 1080p DLNA LCD HDTV with RED Touch of ColorThis is without a doubt the Best available. Ordered June 25 and amazon said it would arrive July 7th. TV actually arrived on the 3rd and was installed same day. We have installed the set in a room with six bright windows facing the set.We could not ask for better picture quality. Reflections are not a issue. Nor is the "halo" effect some have refered to. Between the product and Amazon we could not be any happier with our purchase.

Canon PowerShot 8.0-Megapixel Digital ELPH Camera - Black
This is officially our second digital camera. The first was a PowerShot SD300, which I LOVED.

I had a hard time giving up print film photo-taking 4 years ago, but I've not looked back sense. Having long ago taken a class in using 35mm SLR's all the added features of the PowerShot line are not lost on me.

The SD870IS is totally rocking, with its large viewing screen and image stabilizer. I'm a sepia addict as well, so naturally I use that whenever I can. I'm often in serious awe of how sharp the pictures are. Even when printing onto photo paper little of the image quality is compromised.

For anyone looking for a solid digital camera AND has an interest in a tad more than point-and-shoot, this is product is worth every penny.

Samsung 52" 1080p 120Hz Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
Let me start this off by saying... when it comes to "tech stuff", I'm a bit of a moron. So, if you're looking for a review that was written by someone who knows "stuff", quit reading. I've had this tv for about a week now and both me and the wife LOVE it. The picture is amazing!!!! All we did was unpack it, plug everything in and turn it on. It was super simple to set up and the picture is awesome, even with factory settings. I've read a bunch of reviews that talk about the picture even being better after "tweeking" it, but I can't imaging it being any better. My wife and I don't agree on everything though; I HAVE to turn the 120Hz off when watching movies and some tv shows, it's just too life-like. My wife however loves it. I love the way that it makes sports, reality shows and news look, just not movies and most tv shows. But, just turn it off and the picture looks perfect (to me anyway). Lastly, Amazon's price beat the brick and mortor stores by almost $1000. I ordered it on a Sunday

Samsung 52" 1080p 120Hz Flat-Panel LCD HDTV
The Samsung LN52A650 is spectacular. I have had the tv for two weeks (having purchased through Amazon.) Deep blacks have really improved my picture from all sources. This TV also handles SD signals well. I was afraid that my Wii video might look more aliased ("jaggies"), but it handles it very well.

Bluray is like no other. I love the auto motion plus (120Hz technology), but it does take time to get used to at first. The picture is SO smooth that it makes movies have a documentary feel to them. It looks live. I think Americans (like me) in general, aren't used to that live feel for movies. After careful observation, it is superior, and I shudder when I switch the 120Hz off because it is so chopped up looking in comparison. 1080i sources are also greatly improved because of this and feel more like a progressive scan source. Video games on the PS3 look great too.

The only disappointment I have is that the Optical audio output will only route Stereo audio coming from a 5.1 digital

NZXT ACC-NT-CRYO-B Aluminum Notebook Cooler 120MM Adjustable Fans (Black)
I am one of many college students who invested in a Dell. I purchased a fully loaded E1705 for what was a bargain price at the time. The thing came fully loaded with an nVidia GeForce Go 7900 GS. Unbeknownst to me at the time was that Dell was _literally_ cramming the 7900 GS into the E1705s. Thanks to some poor design choices on Dell's part (to save money, I assume), many people have been having problems with their video card overheating. I happen to be one of those lucky folks.

To make matters worse, the stock fans in my E1705 have not been helping. I have been running a program to control my fans and monitor temperatures (I8kfanGUI), and even with manual temperature control, I still have been unable to regulate the temperature of my GPU and CPU. It was to the point that I was getting artifacts (video glitches, lines across the screen, etc.) just from working in the Window's environment. Forget gaming; any game that I could start up would result in my computer crashing several minutes

Panasonic SC-EN37 Music Micro System (Refurbished)-SC-EN37 Micro System MP3 Playback Music Port
In the age of ever shrinking electronics, finding the right music system for your room is not only a challenge of size but of value and usability.

My husband and I have hemmed and hawed for sometime before we finally decided to go with a stand alone system WITH an iPod attachment. We simply couldn't see the sense of trapping ourselves in the iPod only alleyway. Is it wrong to still want to play cds from time to time?

The Panasonic Micro System is super compact and sleek; even the most ardent of techno-aesthetic lovers could appreciate the design.

True, the sound isn't the same as our surround-sound system downstairs, but I didn't expect that for $120.

Overall, love this little system (especially the sleep mode) and would recommend it to those with three motivations in mind: economy, space and versatility.

Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures: Windows
I purchased Age of Conan two days after its official launch. I played it for the duration of the initial free 30 day subscription you receive when you purchase the game.

* Be wary of reviews that only mention the area designed for new players, or extrapolate upon very minor features such as "character creation". These things, while strong in this game, are going to account for but a tiny part of your overall experience. My review focuses on aspects of the game that will affect your enjoyment from day one right on through day thirty - namely stability, content, and customer service. *

To start, I'll focus on the stability and quality of the application itself: Age of Conan is extremely unstable, being plagued by bugs that will crash your system for a variety of reasons. The game client has a lingering memory leak that has continued to wax and wane in prevalence since launch. As of the writing of this review, the stability of the client is still very poor and the memory leak is still very
