I've read the reviews on here and have to say it seems a mixed bag for the Lexmark X6570. My experience however, has been exemplary. The printer setup easily, the wireless took less than five minutes to setup and the printing is uniformly good. Good, not great. I do experience some fuzzy characters and have had occasion where I'm printing a multi-page document and the sheet must feed in slightly crooked because that's how it comes out printed: slightly crooked. But I will give it the benefit of the doubt; it's humid in North Carolina and both of my printer's paper 'bends' in the feed tray after sitting for a day or two, so I don't think it problematic.
I will agree with everyone, the ink doesn't last as long as expected. But I feel that seems to be all of the manufacturers mantra these days...sell a printer, perhaps at even less than a breakeven point and make up the difference on ink. I have a current Epson multi-function that consumes ink almost exactly as quickly as the Lexmark.

Pretty good product! Awsome ease in instaling! For my own personal use it is great, although ink goes fast and I wish it was top fax instead of having to scan first. It does nice pics.

By far, the very best printer, scanner, copier we've ever owned. I have one desk top, and 3 laptops networked to this machine...took very little time. Absolutely not one problem with the wireless and I am truly not a techy person at all! If I can do this, anyone can do this! Ink can be purchased cheaper through Lexmark! Print quality-good/excellent. Noise level-slight/pretty quiet. Color quality-excellent. Love the picture memory card slot! Amazing features...Can't say anything about the fax capability...have not used it for that purpose. My old All-in-One was also a Lexmark and still going strong...just love the wireless feature on this one!

I've had this for about 4 months now. Used lightly, but regularly (mostly black and white). Love it. I held off on buying a printer for a while, because they are often more trouble than they are worth, but this one went well above expectations.
Everything works as expected (although I have not used the faxing).
- Wireless (secured) is flawless, and a great feature if you move your laptop within the house.
- Copying and scanning work great for my needs (personal).
- My favorite feature: automatic double-sided printing. Hard to find feature, and I have yet to see another company offer it at this price. What a paper saver, now I don't feel as bad when printing. You have to change its settings in XP in order to print both sides by default.
Also, I set the default to "draft" quality printing by default, which saves on ink. I haven't had to replace the cartridges yet, and the quality is fine for personal use.
The only con I've found is that the automatic paper feed hasn't fed in the paper

FOR THE $ I CANNOT BELIEVE THE EASY INSTALLATION, PERFORMANCE, AND OVERALL QUALITY ONE GETS. I WOULD HIGHLY ADVISE ANYONE TO PURCHASE THIS WONDERFUL "ALL IN ONE " PRINTER,FAX, COPIER & SCANNER. WITH ALL OF THOSE FEATURES THERE IS ONE MORE THAT IS SO GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT IS WIRELESS, SO THAT YOU CAN PLACE THE PRINTER ANYWHERE IN YOUR HOME AND OR OFFICE . NO NEED TO FEEL CRAMPED ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So far this item exceeds my expectations. It was easy to install, I can print from anywhere in my home, and is very quiet. It has worked the first time, every single time I have faxed, received a fax, or printed.

Things I had to do to make this work in my house using WIFI
Make sure to turn Windows Firewall off before beginning the printer installation
Make sure you know your wireless router's WEP password if it's a secure network...I forgot mine and had to reset everything.
I've owned two HP all-in-one multi-function printers. Both had major issues & mechanical problems. Maybe I just had bad luck, but this time I went for something else. This printer, and Lexmark in general get many so/so reviews. HP receives great reviews many places.
This printer works like a printer should, unlike my HP nightmares.
Pictures print well enough for vacation prints & daily home office duties (bills/documents, etc.) print just fine.
Wifi rocks.
For the price & funtion, & if you're aiming for moderate to light use I think this is a good buy.
It was on sale for $100 on 2/2/08 at my local office mega store
I'll update if anything goes wrong (fingers firmly crossed)
Hope it helps!

This printer is awesome and I am still learning all the functions because there are so many. The only road block I really have with it is that I am still trying to set it up to be wireless but its just not working yet. Other than that it works very well with the wire connected to the computer and has already come in very handy.

Great little printer, the wireless function is nice, but you have to set up two different printers to use USB and wireless. The quality is on par with similar machines, but the Lexmark uses up ink twice as fast. One cartridge lasts only a few days. I keep at least 4 extra high-volume cartridges on hand because they run out so fast. They are half the size of what HP gives you, last 1/4 the time, and cost the same. If you are looking to save money on ink, look elsewhere. Also, major retailers DO NOT carry the cartridges for this machine. Make sure your local supplier carries the 40-41 or 42-43! Most dont for some reason.

I am a little disappointed in this unit. The print quality is OK, but not good enough for a professional document. The scanner seems to work fine. The fax part of it was triggered to receive a fax before the number of rings I had set it for. The machine does not power down into the power-saving mode on its own, and even when I put it in that mode, it often self triggers into the full power mode; maybe the WiFi is picking up extraneous signals which triggers the power-up.
I do like the WiFi feature; while sitting in my den I can send something to print (from my laptop), and pick it up from my office at a later time. Overall, the unit provides what I need in a non-business setting, for non-professional tasks. If you need high quality output, look for a higher level machine.

This printer is NOT ideal for the person who wants a cheap and "economical" solution with all the features mentioned.
I must admit, at the price range, I fell victim and tried this product, since I liked the built in wireless feature. What they do not tell you is that you MUST first hardwire your system to the printer FIRST to "import wireless" settings and then you can use it wirelessly. Well, to me, no biggie, right? Now, I had to tell my router to give it a permanent IP address because the printer kept changing up, and when you have 3 wireless notebooks, its aggravating since your computers dont know what is the current address to print to.
I've only printed a total of 21 pages, and wow! I AM AT 80% black ink left [all pages were incoming faxes]. This the not very impressive page yield, and the box mentions an average of 220 pgs avg yield of black pages. Wow. . . not so!
Not only that, this printer stays in my bedroom next to my desktop, and the printer makes random noises in the

I recently purchased this printer from a local store because I wanted the network functionality for my office. This printer only connects to your network through wireless which means that you have to install the CD on every computer you want to be able to use the printer. I called their customer service to see if there was any way to get around this and the rep admited that there was but told me it would be easier for him if I just installed the CD on each computer. Incredible! All said, I still have the printer and it works well once the setup woes are resolved.

This is a good printer for the money and the wireless feature is a definite plus.
I'm using it as a backup to my Lexmark X9350 all-in-one printer in a home setting where all of our computers are networked.
The X6750 has been a flawless performer for light duty printing and faxing.
I selected this printer first for its wireless capability and, second, for commonality of cartridges with the X9350.

The printer was very easy to set up and has created another modern luxury in our house. We are not very technologically savvy, so the ease of installation and ease of use has been very nice. The print quality is laser-like. We have been happy with the new printer!

Let me start saying that, after few years of browsing Overstock.com, I finally made my first purchase and cannot be more pleased. The order was processed right away and delivered to my door in less than 72 hours after I purchased it. You can't beat that! Easy installation until it got to the Wireless part. But expected as dealing with Wireless networks is not easy! I had originally purchased the model prior to this one (without the Fax feature) and it was more expensive than this one! So after I received this one and tried it, I returned the other! Overstock rock my TECH WORLD!! I would recommend this to anyone, great value and price!

Just got my printer. Took about 30 minutes to set up. Just loaded the software and set up the printer then plugged it it. It searched for my network and all I had to do was enter the network key. No fuss no Muss. Worked wirelessly first time. Print, scan, fax all wirelessly. I love it.
