great for the average listener

My sister got her pair of headphones in the mail today, I'm still waiting on mine. As a musician, I felt that I would be the ultimate judge of these headphones. I am VERY picky when it comes to sound quality (everything in my digital music collection is 192 kbps or higher). First off, I feel these headphones don't go loud enough. Second, I read a review here which mislead me to believing that other people around you wouldn't be able to hear much of what you're listening to. That was wrong because even on low volume i heard what my sister was listening to. And the biggest thing that bugs me to no end about these headphones.....lack of treble! Seriously where did all the high end go? Kid me not, these are great headphones.... if you turn the volume up all the way and use the treble booster EQ on your iPod. If you're just a casual, average music listener, these are the headphones for you. I mean, my sister loves em. But if you want truly amazing headphones, go out and find the triangular shaped  more

Magnific product

I'm a production student and I edit a lot of sounds clips. I got this headphones as a recommendation from a friend who had them already. The sound quality is great and the came with their own carrying case making them easy to transport to class. I use this headphones almost everyday not only for sound editing, but in everyday life with my Ipod.

Fantastic product!

These are, by far, the best headphones I've ever owned/heard/seen/head of. All I've really used before were the cheap headphones and earbuds that came with the various CD players and iPods I've owned over the years. Those "stock" headphones weren't terrible, but I noticed lots of distortion at high volumes from all of them and none of them were comfortable. The Hesh headphones are above and beyond all of those. Not only are they super comfortable and light (when I first got the box in the mail, I thought they forgot to put them in the box cuz it was so light!), but they sound GREAT. The first song I listened to through them was "This Calling" by All That Remains at full volume...and WOW...the bass is low and full, the mids are tremendously punchy, and the highs come in loud and clear. If you close your eyes while listening through these headphones it feels like you're in the front row at a concert.
